I did a good deal of research. This is one of the more realistic flames I've seen. We have it in our small den where we relax and watch TV. I designed the den to be cozy and serve as our library. This stove fits right in. I love flopping down in a big overstuffed chair, clicking on the tube to watch a game and simply clicking the remote control for the fire...awesome! The room is a bonus room over the garage that can feel a bit chilly. Within minutes the room goes from a cool 65 to 72...The heat can be easily adjusted...It warms the space with no difficulty in no time. The furnace does not kick on as often...Great zone heating.
