I bought this fireplace last spring. It was very easy to put together. The finish is darker than pictured, but is still beautifly finished, like a fine peice of furniture. It is a beautiful addition to my living room. Everyone that has seen it, has nothing but praise about its appearance. The heating unit works well, and the flames look so real, and the special effects features are great. If you are looking for a well constructed, and good looking fireplace, with lots of detail and special features. Then I would advise looking at this one. I know that I am more than pleased with mine.
